Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity delivering Occupational Therapy services within a supportive school environment near Las Cruces, NM. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to create positive outcomes for children and youth.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active and valid Occupational Therapist license for New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain) Experience providing OT services in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Solid understanding of IEP processes and relevant documentation requirements Effective communicator; able to engage with students, parents, and school staff Committed to evidence-based practices and ongoing professional development Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students with varied needs Provide direct and consultative OT services to support students participation in academic and daily activities Collaborate closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom routines Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress notes and assessment reports Participate in IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations tailored to each student Educate and support school staff and families with strategies to promote student growth and independence This contract position offers a chance to make a direct impact in childrens lives while working in a positive, team-based setting.
