Key Qualifications:

Current active licensure from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (NMRLD) Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) certification (can be obtained quickly for those motivated to start) Willingness to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Open to Occupational Therapists and COTAs Ability and readiness to travel between multiple schools within the district Enthusiasm for serving a caseload that spans various ages and school settings

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive OT services to students as outlined in their IEPs Work closely with educators and other related service professionals Supervise and support COTA team members Adapt to the dynamic needs of a diverse student population Maintain accurate, timely records and reports Ensure adherence to all state and district policies
