This onsite, full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a dynamic student population, collaborating with educators and families to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed. Your background in school-based Occupational Therapy (OT) or as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) makes you a perfect fit for this engaging environment. Use your passion to facilitate student growth, helping them achieve their goals in both academic and functional skills.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification/licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Experience in school settings, especially with elementary-aged children Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and documentation skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group therapy services based on student IEPs Administer assessments to determine students needs and guide intervention planning Develop and implement therapy goals and adaptations to support access to curriculum Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families for seamless student support Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services and student progress Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations for student success This opportunity allows you to make a lasting difference in the lives of young learners within a supportive educational community.
