Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans. Provide direct therapy services to students, ensuring their progress toward educational and developmental goals. Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs. Collaborate regularly with teachers, school team members, administration, and families to coordinate effective support strategies. Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license. New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification. Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting (preferred). Familiarity with K-12 student populations and ability to adapt approaches for varying ages and needs. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. In this position, you will be compensated between $38 and $45 per hour, depending on your experience.
