This contract position is located onsite near Polvadera, NM, providing the chance to collaborate closely with dedicated school staff and positively impact young learners.

Key Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Previous experience with elementary school students preferred Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans Strong organizational and communication skills Dedication to fostering student independence and success in the classroom

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of students fine motor, sensory, and functional skills within the school environment Design and execute effective treatment interventions tailored to each childs needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to set meaningful goals and track progress Maintain timely records and document therapy sessions in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to help shape student support plans Provide consultative support and training to staff to foster inclusive learning environments
