Key Qualifications:

Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) is required Must hold or obtain NMPED certification from NM Department of Education prior to start date (streamlined process for proactive candidates) Open to OTs; COTAs are encouraged to apply and will be considered Willingness to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) Strong commitment to traveling between multiple schools, serving elementary through high school populations Passion for school-based therapy and delivering equitable services across diverse caseloads

What Youll Do:

Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students across several campuses Partner with educators, administrators, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective IEPs Supervise COTAs, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with state and district guidelines Adapt therapy approaches for varying developmental levels and individualized student needs Maintain accurate records and timely progress documentation for multiple sites What Sets this
