Key qualifications:
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist Experience working in schools, with preK-12 populations preferred Comfort with providing services to elementary, middle, and high school students Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Primary responsibilities: Assess students to determine the need for occupational therapy intervention Develop and implement individualized plans to help students achieve educational and developmental goals Deliver direct and consultative OT services within classroom and therapy settings Document assessments, progress, and outcomes in accordance with school and district standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development Educate staff and families on strategies to promote students functional abilities You'll play an essential role in helping students build skills for academic and personal success while gaining valuable school-based experience.
