Job Description
Experience a rewarding assignment supporting students as a full-time Occupational Therapist in an engaging school environment. This opportunity offers positions working with both elementary and secondary students, allowing you to make a meaningful difference for learners at a variety of developmental stages. The school year runs from August 20 through June 4, with a manageable caseload of 55-60 students. This role is ideal for versatile OTs with a background in school settings, home health, healthcare environments, or those with teletherapy experience interested in working with children and adolescents. Qualifications And Desired Experience A valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Nevada (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in schools, home health, healthcare, or teletherapy Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to design and adapt therapy plans based on each student's needs Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere Key Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy services to a caseload of 55-60 students, spanning elementary and secondary grades Administer assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families Deliver therapy both individually and in small groups, tracking student progress throughout the academic year Consult with teachers, parents, and staff regarding intervention supports and classroom strategies Maintain timely documentation and comply with all regulations and policies This is a full-time position with regular school hours, varying depending on grade level: elementary schedules are typically 8:30-3:15, while secondary schedules run from 7:30-2:15.
