Job Description

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR/COTA) — Part-Time, 1099 Contract Out East Therapy of New York — East Moriches Sensory Gym + Surrounding Long Island Areas Out East Therapy of New York is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for part-time, contract (1099) work at our sensory gym in East Moriches. We also have additional coverage opportunities available across Long Island school districts and CPSE programs, including the Center Moriches and East Hampton areas. About Us We're a pediatric therapy agency providing OT, PT, SLP, RN, and psychology services to school districts and early intervention/preschool (CPSE) programs throughout Long Island. We work closely with our contractors to build flexible, manageable caseloads. Responsibilities Provide direct OT services in our sensory gym and/or in school-based settings per
IEP/IFSP
goals Conduct evaluations and progress reports as needed (OTR) Collaborate with school staff, families, and other related service providers Maintain timely, compliant documentation (CPSE Portal experience a plus) Qualifications NYS OT license in good standing (OTR/L) or
NYS COTA
license Experience with pediatric and/or sensory-based practice preferred Reliable transportation for travel between sites (for coverage positions) Strong communication and documentation skills Details Part-time, flexible schedule 1099 independent contractor Competitive per-session/per-hour rate (commensurate with experience) Primary location: East Moriches sensory gym; additional coverage across Long Island (Center Moriches, East Hampton, and surrounding areas) Tipo de puesto: Por contrato
