Qualifications & Experience Desired:

Current Occupational Therapist license valid in New York State Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program Previous experience working with children or within school-based settings highly preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt to both individual and group therapy sessions Compassion and commitment to supporting students with diverse backgrounds and needs

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for students Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom Delivering targeted interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, and other skills essential for academic success Maintaining thorough documentation of progress, services provided, and IEP requirements Participating in student support meetings and communicating recommendations to multidisciplinary teams Educating staff and caregivers on ways to reinforce therapy goals outside of scheduled sessions
