we're therapists supporting therapists About the role: You'll act as a partner, using sensory-based and play-driven approaches to help infants and children build strength, coordination, and confidence, at home, at school, and in the community. Responsibilities Identify and meet the individual goals and needs of each child and family Improve sensory processing and integration to support motor and functional performance Develop individualized care plans using a variety of evidence-based treatment and play techniques Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to each child, including adolescents and teens Provide high-quality, personalized, evidence-based care Motivate young patients to help them engage and perform at their best Support healthy development of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination Collaborate with other healthcare professionals on the care team Evaluate progress and communicate updates with families and team members Maintain clear, timely documentation of patient care Bonus skills Experience with Autism, ADHD and typical pediatric OT concerns Willingness to train further in sensory processing evaluation and treatment for infants and children What we're looking for Proven experience as a pediatric sensory trained occupational therapist Strong clinical foundation and desire to keep learning and growing Comfort working with kids of all personalities and developmental stages Excellent communication skills with children and families and sensitivity to a child's developing self-esteem Current, valid NY license to practice occupational therapy Graduate degree from an accredited OT program
