Job Description

Responsibilities Position Functions and Responsibilities Organize and coordinate pool schedule in conjunction with schedules of classrooms and other therapies Transport patients to and from classrooms for the purpose of receiving therapy Record and maintain daily statistical logs for pool and modalities Assist patient in donning and doffing of swimwear incorporating therapeutic dressing techniques prior to and after aquatic session including assistance with showering Assist therapist during treatment in the pool under the direct supervision and instruction of registered occupational, physical therapist, or speech therapist when requested. Assist therapist in the pool as required and instructed Perform maintenance and upkeep of the pool area including: Disinfect pool toys on a daily basis Rinse bathing suits after every use on a daily basis Place towels in designated areas (clean and dirty) after use Maintain a supply list for the pool area and complete purchase requisitions as directed by the Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy to maintain par levels of supplies Perform other responsibilities in the physical, speech and occupational therapy departments as assigned when not engaged in aquatic therapy program duties such as: Assist supervising physical, speech and occupational therapist in treatment of patients in the therapy gym Participate in scheduled in-service training programs and weekly meetings Sanitize toys, treatment equipment and/or modality equipment as assigned 10. Perform clerical for the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy departments as needed 11. Comply with established ESCR, Inc.
policies and procedures re:
quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control, confidentiality of patient information, customer service, attendance, punctuality, dress code, professional conduct, annual health assessments etc. Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL & LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma Required. Training and/or academic credit in the field of biological sciences and child development. Must maintain current CPR certification. Experience Experience in clinical pediatric environment
Hourly Rate:
$21.65/Hr.
