  • PRN Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist
  • PRN to join our dynamic team at The Village at Marymount in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
As a Part-Time Occupational Therapist, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a Long-Term Care and Assisted Living facility. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and are looking for a rewarding career opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Review requests for occupational therapy and physicians' orders Interview residents to evaluate daily living skills and capacities and determine the extent of abilities and limitations Select rehabilitative and therapeutic activities and exercises based on the medical and social history of the resident Teach basic living skills to residents as necessary and instructed Maintain resident confidentiality by monitoring confidential information processing Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements Work cooperatively with the Nightingale team and take the extra mile to interact with residents as needed
Requirements:
Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Must possess current, unencumbered license to practice as an Occupational Therapist from the Commonwealth Ability to work independently or as part of a group Effectively communicate with others LTC experience is a plus
