Job Description

Step into a meaningful role supporting a 6th-grade homebound student for the 2026/2027 school year as an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based services. This is a contract opportunity near Maineville, OH—ideal for professionals eager to make a real difference in a student's educational journey.
Key Qualities & Experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with active credentials for school settings Demonstrated experience working with students in grades K-12, particularly those requiring homebound support Skilled in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Familiarity with documentation requirements and progress reporting in an educational environment Strong communicator who collaborates effectively with educators, families, and school teams Compassionate and creative problem solver, committed to student-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct, in-home occupational therapy services to a 6th-grade student Assess and address fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills to promote access to the educational curriculum Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to tailor interventions Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize outcomes Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input on student goals and strategies Use adaptive tools and activities to engage and motivate the student in a home setting
