Occupational Therapist (OT) - Job Summary The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides evaluation and treatment services to patients in accordance with physician orders, professional standards, and company policies. The OT helps patients improve independence, daily living skills, mobility, communication, and overall quality of life while collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Key Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide occupational therapy treatments to improve daily living skills, mobility, communication, and independence. Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, self-help devices, and environmental modifications. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and home strategies. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Complete accurate and timely documentation. Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow all clinical policies and procedures. Collaborate with physicians, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Maintain equipment and company property in good working condition. Participate in continuing education and maintain required licensure and certifications. Qualifications Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice. Current CPR certification.
