Occupational Therapist-PRN Bethany Children's Health Center - 4.4 Bethany, OK Job Details PRN 17 hours ago Benefits Tuition reimbursement Qualifications English Full Job Description The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation of children with special needs. This position directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance and facilitates the learning of those skills essential for function adaptation, self-care, and productivity, under the supervision of their therapy manager, inpatient therapy director, and executive leadership. Duty Percent of Time Upon provider referral, performs patient evaluation and develops specific individualized treatment plan including long and short term goals that are measurable and objective. 20% Performs individualized treatment procedures in a professional and compassionate manner to maximize child's performance. 50% Collaborates and communicates effectively with members of the patient care team; performs timely and accurate documentation, and stays up to date on the most recent occupational Therapy techniques through research and CE 15% Evaluates need, orders, and/or fabricates appropriate therapeutic equipment as indicated by patient need. 10% Participates in staff trainings, student observations, clinical instruction of students and interns, and family training opportunities. 5%
Education:
Graduate of accredited School of Occupational Therapy. Ability to speak, understand, read and write English required.
Experience:
Pediatric experience preferred
License/Certification/Credential:
Occupational Therapist License from State of Oklahoma or proven eligibility for licensing within 3-6 months of employment with temporary license.
