9618175-97823 Job Description A new contract opportunity is available for Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) for the 2026-2027 school year. This dynamic role serves students across all ages (K-12th) and supports their well-being and educational progress. With full-time hours and the chance to collaborate with education professionals, therapists will work within a school-based setting, travel between school sites, and deliver impactful support for students with diverse needs.

Key Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

Current licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in Oregon Experience or interest in providing school-based occupational therapy Background in healthcare, home health, or educational settings is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for traveling between schools Passion for working with children and adolescents from kindergarten through 12th grade Flexibility and adaptability in working with a diverse caseload and changing environments

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students Deliver direct therapy services to support students functional, academic, and social-emotional goals Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of strategies in classrooms and homes Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed Engage in IEP meetings as a contributing team member Travel among school sites during the regular school day (Monday through Friday, 8 hours daily) Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal protocols for therapy provision This contract begins in August 2026 and continues through June 2027, offering the opportunity to impact students throughout the academic year.
