Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Valid state license and NBCOT certification (or eligibility) Previous experience in a school setting or pediatrics preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual needs and IEP goals
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of students motor, sensory, cognitive, and social-emotional needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with student IEPs Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services within classrooms and dedicated therapy spaces Document evaluations, interventions, and progress in accordance with school and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy goals into students daily routines Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student abilities and goals Support the school community by sharing resources and best practices This role offers flexibility within the academic calendar and the chance to work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to student success.
