Job Description

Category Schools - OT - Telehealth Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for a skilled occupational therapist with experience in telehealth and school-based services to support early intervention initiatives in Roseburg, OR, and surrounding areas of Douglas County. This contract position requires delivering therapeutic support primarily through home-based visits, providing crucial assistance to young children and their families in natural environments.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving developmental outcomes. Implementing interventions in home settings as part of early intervention services. Utilizing telehealth platforms effectively to deliver remote therapy sessions. Collaborating with caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to facilitate child progress. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with program guidelines.
Desired qualifications and experience:
Licensed Occupational Therapist with relevant credentials. Proficiency in school-based occupational therapy and telehealth service delivery. Experience working with early intervention populations, particularly in home environments. Strong communication skills to engage families and team members effectively. Ability to manage case loads and adhere to timelines.
Position details:
Location:
Primarily Roseburg, OR, with some travel within Douglas County.
Commitment:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Duration:
Immediate start through June 11, 2027.
