9600321-29010 Job Description Step into a meaningful role supporting elementary students as a contract Occupational Therapist working with grades 1 through 5. This opportunity focuses on providing direct, student-centered therapy services in a single school setting, allowing you to foster continuous, impactful relationships with a dedicated caseload. You will work closely with approximately 12 students, contributing your expertise to enhance their functional and educational outcomes. The position offers 5.5 direct service hours per week, giving you the flexibility to thoughtfully plan interventions and collaborate with faculty and families to maximize student success.

What Youll Bring:

Active Occupational Therapy license in the state Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and occupational therapy best practices for school-aged children Excellent communication and organizational skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to eligible students in grades 15 Prepare and implement individualized treatment plans based on IEP goals Conduct assessments to determine students functional needs related to school performance Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Participate in IEP team meetings when necessary to share input and progress updates
