What Were Looking For:

Active Occupational Therapist license in South Carolina (required) Experience in school-based settings or pediatric care is highly preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional communication and organizational skills Compassion, flexibility, and a student-centered approach Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver skilled OT services to students in both individual and group settings Evaluate and document students' functional needs and progress Develop and update IEPs in collaboration with school teams and families Consult with educators to support classroom adaptations and strategies Advocate for students' occupational therapy needs within the school setting Maintain detailed records and contribute to team meetings Support smooth transition planning during the duration of the maternity leave
