9657679-29169 Job Description Step into an engaging opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist serving K-8th grade learners in a vibrant public charter school setting. This contract position offers the flexibility to provide either onsite or teletherapy services, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a way that best aligns with your professional style and preferences. The role covers a traditional full-time school schedule, running from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, beginning as soon as possible and extending through the end of the school year in May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the state of South Carolina Experience or training in delivering OT services within a school environment (K-8 preferred) Ability to provide both onsite and remote/teletherapy interventions Proficient in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

Assess students functional abilities and develop targeted intervention plans Deliver direct occupational therapy services as outlined in IEPs Support the development of students fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills necessary for academic participation Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth and engagement Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school guidelines and state regulations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations This position offers the stability of full-time hours in a school-year-based schedule, allowing you to focus your expertise in a supportive, mission-driven educational environment.
