Qualifications:
Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Tennessee (or eligibility to obtain) Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting is strongly preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for empowering students to maximize their functional independence Flexibility and adaptability in meeting diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student achievement Deliver therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, and adaptive strategies Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team conferences
