Key Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Previous experience serving school-aged children (K-12), ideally in a virtual setting Background working with diverse caseloads, including students with varying physical, cognitive, and emotional needs Comfort utilizing teletherapy platforms and delivering assessments/interventions remotely Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills
What Youll Do:
Provide virtual occupational therapy services to students across grades K-12 Evaluate and assess students needs, developing personalized intervention plans Consult with teachers, staff, and families to incorporate therapeutic strategies into classroom and home routines Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings as required Deliver engaging, evidence-based interventions in a virtual environment Manage a caseload approximately 6-7 hours weekly, with an additional 10 weeks of comp time available during the assignment Adhere to all ethical, legal, and professional standards in school-based teletherapy Embark on a meaningful contract assignment that lets you make a lasting impactall from the comfort of your own workspace.
