Job Description
Job DescriptionThe Occupational Therapist position is responsible for the direct implementation of therapy services within a clinic-based environment. This position will work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and families to ensure that each patient in the organization receives quality therapeutic care! This role will be a Full-Time, salaried position supporting pediatric and adolescent clients on-site at our Fort Worth facility.
Perform clinical assessment; identify patient needs and target developmental goalsDocument, prepare/revises, and complete a Plan of Care, progress notes, and other clinical record documentation on an ongoing basisAssess and facilitate the patient's ROM, strength, coordination, need for and use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications, functional mobility, and safety issues as related to the patient's ADL performance needsImplement, monitor, collect and evaluate data.
Evaluate the efficiency of the treatmentDemonstration of professional behaviorCompetence with Crisis InterventionFacilitate effective training with parents and staffPerform other duties as assigned
