2989950498-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Nealy Pierce, LLC is partnering with a leading neuro-rehab program to hire an Occupational Therapist for a split role between Neuro Inpatient Rehab and Outpatient Neuro. In this on-site position, you'll evaluate and treat adult patients with stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurological conditions across the continuum of care. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans, progressing functional goals, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and documenting in the EMR to regulatory standards. You'll educate patients and families, contribute to program quality, and help maximize independence and safe community reintegration. Responsibilities Provide evidence-based occupational therapy for adult neuro patients in inpatient rehab and outpatient neuro settings Conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and set functional goals Deliver 1:1 and group interventions focused on ADLs, cognition, motor control, and community reintegration Collaborate with physicians, PT, SLP, nursing, and care teams to coordinate interdisciplinary care Document assessments, goals, and progress in the EMR in accordance with regulatory and payer standards Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home programs, safety, and adaptive strategies Participate in team conferences, discharge planning, and continuity-of-care coordination Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and outcome tracking for neuro rehab services Provide mentorship to students or new staff as appropriate Maintain licensure, continuing education, and competency in neuro-rehab best practices Required Skills Neuro-rehabilitation treatment planning ADL and IADL retraining Cognitive and motor-skill rehabilitation Use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology EMR documentation and billing compliance Interdisciplinary care coordination Patient and caregiver education Functional outcome measurement (e.g., FIM/IRF-PAI or similar tools) Discharge planning and community reintegration Time management and caseload prioritization
