Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing Occupational Therapy services in an engaging school-based setting. A district near Haltom City, TX is seeking a dynamic professional to support K-12 students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas (or eligibility upon start) Experience in school-based settings preferred Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy best practices Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to tailor interventions for diverse student needs across K-12 Flexibility to adapt to changing caseload requirements

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate student needs to develop personalized therapy plans Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary educational team Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Consult with teachers and parents, offering strategies for classroom and home success Contribute to planning and IEP meetings as required Participate in professional development and training as available This contract runs from August 12, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours (8:00am - 4:00pm). The caseload will be discussed during the interview, covering a range of K-12 students, ensuring you have a diverse and enriching professional experience. You'll have direct access to school support and timely interview scheduling, as the district is eager to connect with passionate candidates.
