2026-2027 Soliant is actively hiring a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time contract position with a collaborative school district in Hitchcock, Texas. We are looking for a dedicated OT to join our special education team for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year and are scheduling interviews immediately. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive assessments for functional, fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing needs. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) with student-centered occupational therapy goals. Provide engaging, direct occupational therapy services in individual and small group settings. Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and the multidisciplinary special education team to ensure students can safely and effectively access their educational environment. Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services provided in compliance with Texas state guidelines. What We're Looking For Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy. Active Texas Occupational Therapy license (issued by ECPTOTE) is required (or eligibility to obtain). National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification. Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations is preferred but not required.
