Long-Term Care Location:
Hondo, TX Start Date:
August 10, 2026
Schedule:
Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Day Shift Join Our Team! We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a respected Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Hondo, Texas . This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced therapists and motivated new graduates with qualifying clinical experience.
Position Details Start Date:
August 10, 2026
Schedule:
Monday-Friday Shift:
8-hour day shifts (35 guaranteed work week)
Start Time:
Flexible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM , as long as the schedule remains consistent and is communicated with the Director of Rehabilitation (DOR)
Weekend Requirement:
No weekends unless a holiday falls during the Monday-Friday workweek. In those cases, weekend hours may be used to make up the schedule.
On-Call:
None Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and quality of life. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, patients, and families. Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards. Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on treatment goals and progress. Minimum Qualifications Active Texas Occupational Therapist (OT) License (Compact license accepted where applicable) Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred New OT's welcome to apply with successful completion of Level II Fieldwork (Level I observation alone does not qualify) Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience required Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills Why You'll Love This Opportunity Consistent weekday schedule No routine weekends No on-call responsibilities Supportive rehabilitation team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' independence and quality of life Apply Today!
