ABOUT THE REASON FOR HOPE
Founded in 2008, The Reason For HOPE is a private Christian Pediatric Therapy Center committed to changing the lives of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Communication Disorders and Behavior Disorders. Our founder is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst and she envisioned a therapy center dedicated to providing treatment for early learners within a fun, positive and HOPEful learning environment. Our team is dedicated to improving the lives of our little learners by only employing research proven therapeutic approaches in all our treatment. We believe in the Golden Rule and are committed to providing a work culture that focuses on treating each other as we want to be treated. We're also committed to focusing on teamwork and completing our work with a spirit of excellence!WHAT TO EXPECT
The primary responsibility of the Occupational Therapist is to help diagnose and treat pediatric individuals who suffer from physical impairments on a one-on-one basis. This position will require you to be able to work collaboratively with other team members as well as independently. You should possess extensive knowledge related to occupational therapy, specifically, with pediatric clients. Organization, time management and excellent oral and written skills are all required for this position. Strong communication skills as well as a friendly personality are both essential. You should also be comfortable working in a Christian environment that focuses on children with special needs. Your efforts will ensure that the rest of our team is able to provide high quality life changing pediatric therapy services to the children that we serve!QUALIFICATIONS
Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Must have current Occupational Therapist License Five or more years of working Occupational Therapist experience Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsSimilar jobs in League City, TX
