Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a supportive school district near Chesapeake, Virginia to hire a full-time, onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) for the 2026-2027 school year . If you're passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond, we'd love to connect! Position Highlights Full-time, onsite position 2026-2027 school year K-12 student population 35-40 hours per week August 2026 start School-year contract Collaborative Special Education and related services team Supportive district and welcoming school environment Responsibilities Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation Support students with fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor integration, self-care, and classroom participation skills Qualifications Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Active Virginia Occupational Therapy License (or ability to obtain) Virginia Department of Education license or eligibility preferred Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Why Sunbelt Staffing?
