The role develops individualized therapy plans, collaborates with educators, and documents progress to enhance student participation and growth. Compensation up to $55 per hour reflects experience and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students' motor, sensory, and cognitive skills to develop individualized therapy plans Implement therapeutic interventions to support students' participation in educational activities Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor progress and adjust plans as needed Maintain accurate documentation of services provided in compliance with district policies Ensure a safe and supportive environment that promotes student growth and development
Qualifications:
Valid state license in Occupational Therapy Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy Current licensed Occupational Therapist credential Minimum 1 year of experience in school-based occupational therapy Active license and resume required Ability to work weekdays and reliable transportation Strong communication, adaptability, and passion for student success Background checks required
