9546980-24175 Job Description Step into a dynamic educational setting and make a difference as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This opportunity is located near Troutville, VA, with a start date of August 3, 2026, and an end date of May 28, 2027. Youll have the chance to support students between ages 2 and 15, with a primary focus on elementary-aged children, in a collaborative school environment. Both full-time and contract work arrangements are welcomewith full-time offering up to 37 hours per week.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of Virginia Previous experience in school-based OT preferred Ability to assess and implement individualized therapy plans for a diverse caseload Strong collaboration skills with special education teams, teachers, and families Excellent communication, documentation, and time management abilities

Role Responsibilities:

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations for students aged 2 to 15 Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans targeting students academic and functional goals Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and adaptations Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and comply with documentation regulations Attend meetings and provide input on IEP teams and multidisciplinary planning
