Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a contract role supporting students across a vibrant district. This district-wide position offers the chance to work with K-12 students in four buildings, providing comprehensive OT services that foster student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Vermont OT Certificate required Experience providing occupational therapy services in K-12 school settings preferred Strong communication skills and adaptability when working with different age groups Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Proficient in developing and implementing IEP goals, assessments, and treatment plans
Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to eligible students district-wide across four school buildings Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs Develop individualized therapy plans aligned with each student's goals and IEPs Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure optimal support Monitor and document student progress, adapting strategies as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding strategies for student success
Position Details:
