Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a district-wide Occupational Therapist providing vital support across four K-12 buildings for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role, based near Chester, VT, runs from late August through mid-June, offering you a chance to make a meaningful difference in the everyday lives of students across all grade levels.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy certificate Experience supporting students in a school setting, K-12 preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to independently manage a diverse caseload across multiple buildings Commitment to fostering student growth, participation, and independence

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver OT services that support students' IEP goals and educational access district-wide Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop intervention plans in accordance with state and federal guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective support strategies Travel between four school sites as needed to provide timely and consistent services Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
