Role Overview:

Provides occupational therapy services to patients across various health and illness states, utilizing everyday activities to promote participation and wellness in diverse settings such as home, school, and community.

Responsibilities:

Assess and address physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory aspects affecting performance and participation. Deliver direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, supporting health, well-being, and activity engagement. Educate patients, families, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care post-discharge. Participate in consultative services within the organization and community. Contribute to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program. Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the relevant state. Strong understanding of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory factors impacting daily activities. Excellent communication and patient education skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to various clinical settings.
