Job Description
Make a difference across an entire district by providing essential occupational therapy services to students in all grade levels. This contract opportunity offers the chance to deliver impactful care in a dynamic, district-wide setting, working with a diverse K-12 population across four buildings. What's required for success: Valid Vermont Occupational Therapy Certificate Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred Ability to serve K-12 students with a wide range of needs Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and families Organizational skills for managing schedules across multiple sites Key responsibilities: Provide occupational therapy assessments and evidence-based interventions to students throughout the district Develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate closely with special education teams and support staff in four schools Document progress and maintain accurate records per school guidelines Participate in IEP meetings to share recommendations and progress updates Travel between buildings as needed (within a manageable district footprint) Offer training and support to teachers and staff in recommended accommodations and strategies This is a full-time contract position, 35-37.5 hours per week, from August 26, 2026 through June 14, 2027.
