Searching for Creative and Enthusiastic Pediatric OT! Eastside Therapy Services is on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our incredible team! ETS:
Tons of flexibility! The ability to make your own schedule and hours (evenings or after school hours are not required!) Weekly manager and mentorship support, including mentoring and support to pursue your professional interests (imagine program development, grad student mentoring, etc.) Additional support for new graduates Weekly flexible admin time paid at a billable rate. Interdisciplinary model engaging in cross discipline mentorship and support for your caseload. Caseloads are built around local areas of provider so travel times and drive times are kept as low as possible. Not a productivity focused model; There is flexibility in caseload size, and providers are not required to make up appointments and have lots of autonomy and choice in how your day and schedule looks. Relationship based model means rapport is focused early on in therapeutic relationship and high support within our co-worker community. Our naturalistic therapy center feels warm, homey and inviting. Patients are treated in an open and play based environment that includes an outdoor therapy center. Animal based therapy is something so special and rewarding! Therapists include animals in their therapy sessions daily in our center based therapy options. A team culture that is reported as a top three favorite part of the job for nearly all team members Our outpatient pediatric therapy team has been serving families for close to ten years! We work in schools, home, child care and our newly opened therapy center in charming Gilman Village. We even include an animal assisted therapy program where children and staff can learn in our outdoor therapy center. Our indoor therapy center has the feel of a bright, and warm early learning play area! ​Interested in what it is like to work here? Specific responsibilities include:
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments including to determine eligibility for services. Collaborate with team members to deliver meaningful services and maximize clients learning across environments. Create dynamic and comprehensive treatment plans. Provide direct services including parent coaching and school consultation. Attend clinical meetings with supervisor Maintain documentation within the company EMR system. Find creative ways to make occupational therapy fun, effective and engaging. Participate in program development in our new center!
Qualifications and Skills:
Active OT license in Washington State First Aid/CPR Certified A natural team player who genuinely enjoys working with others. Committed to helping your patients reach their full potential. Pediatric experience preferred. Experience with play based interventions preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
