1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital, requiring 1-3 years of OT experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Details Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds General patient population including stroke, TBI, spinal cord injury, and debility diagnoses Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Weekend coverage required once a month EPIC and Rehab Connect EHR systems used Requirements Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required 1-3 years of experience as an OT required OT experience in acute care, skilled nursing, or inpatient rehab hospital preferred AHA certifications required License required if applicable Basic computer knowledge and effective English communication skills (verbal and written) required Additional Information Provide individualized rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Work within a comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation program Must be cooperative and demonstrate strong team player attributes Black scrubs required Report time between 7:30-8:00 AM Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility Candidates cannot have worked as perm staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
