Qualifications:

Current Washington Occupational Therapist license ESA (Educational Staff Associate) Certification required Experience in school settings or working with elementary-aged children is highly desirable Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to providing student-centered, evidence-based therapy

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of 42 elementary students Assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans to support educational and developmental goals Collaborate closely with special education teachers, classroom staff, and families Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation and progress reporting Create and implement interventions that facilitate independence, participation, and skill-building within the school environment Provide support and training to educators and staff on integrating therapeutic strategies in the classroom This contract position requires 37.5 hours per week and offers the unique opportunity to improve outcomes for students by addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive challenges in a supportive educational setting.
