Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain) Prior pediatric or school-based OT experience preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Compassionate approach toward working with children of varying abilities Ability to create individualized intervention plans based on student needs Comfortable conducting assessments and accurately documenting progress
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement IEPs Assess student needs and goals, utilizing standardized assessment tools Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student care plans Document services, progress notes, and evaluations efficiently in compliance with state and district policies Educate and guide classroom staff on accommodations and strategies to support student participation Foster a positive, encouraging, and adaptive environment that supports every childs success Working in this role, youll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of students while growing professionally in a dynamic school community.
