Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapy licensure Previous experience in a school-based OT role preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Familiarity with sensory integration, fine motor, and daily living skill interventions for children Excellent communication skills for working with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine students individual therapy needs Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into classroom routines Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Provide consultation and recommendations to facilitate student access to educational environments Support inclusive practices and student participation in school activities
