Position:

Occupational Therapist (OT) -

Full-time or PRN Primary Job Responsibilities:

To provide quality Occupational therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures, and productivity standards. To evaluate residents to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation, and conduct specialized evaluations as indicated. To supervise and direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in the implementation of the treatment plan. Apply interventions to maximize safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) Recommend adaptive equipment and train in its use Guide and educate family members and caregivers Observe, note, and report on the progress of long and short-term treatment goals

Qualifications:

Valid license to practice as an occupational therapist in Wisconsin. BS degree or greater in occupational therapy. Experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is preferred. #INDTHERAPY
