Assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide occupational therapy services to improve function and independence
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and adaptive equipment
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation professionals
Supervise therapy assistants, students, and support personnel
Assist with discharge planning and community resource recommendations

Degree from an Occupational Therapy Program, required Licenses/Certifications
Current Occupational Therapy License as required by the state of practice
National Board Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within time frame specified in facility policy Experience
1 year preferred
Qualifications:
Education
