PTA / Rehabilitation Assistant -
Orthopedic Integrative Medical Clinic Advanced Spine, Joint & Therapy Centers Pay:
$17.50 per hour
Position:
Full-Time PTA / Rehabilitation Assistant Advanced Spine, Joint & Therapy Centers is seeking a motivated, dependable, and patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Rehabilitation Assistant to join our growing integrative medical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys orthopedic rehabilitation and hands-on patient care and wants to work in a multidisciplinary medical environment.
ABOUT OUR CLINIC
Advanced Spine, Joint & Therapy Centers is an integrative medical and orthopedic clinic focused on providing comprehensive, non-surgical treatment for patients suffering from musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. Our team works collaboratively and includes: Medical Doctor Chiropractor Physical Rehabilitation Team Clinical and Rehabilitation Assistants We treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions involving the spine, joints, muscles, and extremities. Our goal is to combine medical care, chiropractic care, rehabilitation, and advanced non-surgical therapies to help patients improve function, mobility, strength, and quality of life.
CONDITIONS WE COMMONLY TREAT
Our patient population includes individuals experiencing: Neck pain Lower-back pain Degenerative disc conditions Sciatica and radiating pain Knee pain Knee osteoarthritis Shoulder pain Hip pain Joint pain and stiffness Muscle weakness and tightness Mobility and range-of-motion limitations Sports and overuse injuries Chronic musculoskeletal conditions Other orthopedic conditions
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
The PTA / Rehabilitation Assistant will work directly with our providers and rehabilitation team to help carry out individualized patient treatment plans.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs Working with orthopedic patients to improve strength, mobility, flexibility, balance, and function Assisting with rehabilitation of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine Assisting with knee, shoulder, hip, and extremity rehabilitation Preparing patients and treatment areas for therapy Assisting with non-surgical spinal decompression/traction treatments Assisting with electrical stimulation and other therapeutic modalities Assisting with shockwave therapy and other clinic-based treatments as permitted by training and applicable scope-of-practice requirements Monitoring patients during rehabilitation and communicating changes or concerns to the appropriate licensed provider Documenting patient participation and treatment information accurately Maintaining clean, organized, and professional rehabilitation areas Providing excellent customer service and creating a positive patient experience Working efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical environment Collaborating with the medical doctor, chiropractor, and rehabilitation team
IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone who is: Experienced or strongly interested in orthopedics and physical rehabilitation Comfortable working directly with patients throughout the day Energetic, professional, and dependable Positive and encouraging with patients Able to follow treatment protocols and provider instructions Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment Organized and attentive to detail A strong communicator and team player Passionate about helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
Previous orthopedic, physical therapy, chiropractic, sports medicine, or rehabilitation experience Experience with therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation Experience working with musculoskeletal and orthopedic patients PTA education/licensure is a plus for applicants seeking the PTA role CPR/BLS certification is a plus Candidates with strong rehabilitation experience who are not licensed PTAs may be considered for the Rehabilitation Assistant position, with duties limited to those appropriate for that role and applicable regulations.
COMPENSATION
Starting Pay:
$17.50 per hour
