1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Chandler, AZ. Details Inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) with 40 beds Occupational Therapy department serving adult patients Common diagnoses include neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related conditions Patient ratio of 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 therapy assistants and 1 rehab tech Specialized equipment includes Vector, LiteGait, Saebo, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody systems EHR system: UDS Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Float option to a sister facility approximately 8 miles away Weekends on request Requirements Active COTA license in Arizona (license required if applicable) Current AHA BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of experience as a COTA Strong time management skills required Point-of-care documentation experience required Knowledge of GG Scoring required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Provide occupational therapy services to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients across neuro, ortho, cardiac, and fall-related diagnoses Wine-colored scrubs required Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible for this position
