Job Description

Rehab Technician (Bilingual Spanish Required) Pacific Coast Post Acute is seeking a full-time Rehab Technician to join our growing rehabilitation team. This position supports our skilled nursing facility (SNF) and outpatient rehabilitation programs by assisting therapists, preparing treatment areas, coordinating patient needs, and ensuring efficient department operations.

Pacific Coast Post Acute Bilingual Spanish Required Position Summary The Rehab Technician performs a variety of non-clinical support tasks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of rehabilitation services. Responsibilities include equipment management, patient transport, treatment setup, scheduling coordination, supply management, and assisting with rehabilitation department operations. This role also supports timely completion of rehabilitation documentation and administrative processes as directed by the supervisor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with setup and preparation for physical, occupational, and speech therapy treatments while considering patient-specific treatment goals and precautions. Maintain a safe treatment environment by following infection control, safety, and equipment maintenance protocols. Communicate routinely with supervisors and healthcare personnel as directed by therapists. Collaborate with therapists to determine resident scheduling needs as necessary. Transport, transfer, and prepare patients and equipment as directed by therapy staff. Accurately complete and submit logs, reports, and other required documentation. Direct clinical questions to supervising therapists and promptly report unusual occurrences to therapists or supervisors. Participate in denials management activities to ensure claims and appeals are completed accurately and on time. Monitor inventory and order office and clinical supplies as needed. Exercise sound judgment and maintain a strong commitment to patient, staff, and personal safety. Attend team meetings, department trainings, and educational programs as assigned. Assist with and participate in in-services, exercise programs, and community-related activities. Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information in accordance with all policies and regulations. Adhere to company dress code and professional standards. Build positive and professional relationships with patients, residents, families, staff members, and healthcare professionals. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous healthcare, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to safely assist with patient transport and movement activities. Commitment to excellent customer service and patient care.
