4 Kids 2 Kids Safe House (STRTP) is currently hiring Mental Health Rehabilitation Specialists (MHRS) to join our team supporting youth ages 12-18 in a trauma-informed residential treatment setting. AMFTs, trainees, and individuals pursuing careers in mental health, social work, psychology, or counseling are encouraged to apply.

Role:
MHRS staff provide direct supervision, emotional support, structure, behavioral coaching, and daily care to youth in a residential treatment environment. Staff work closely with the treatment team to help clients build coping skills, emotional regulation, accountability, communication skills, and independence.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide supervision, protection, care, and support to youth individually and in group settings at all times Maintain a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment Implement the 4K2K behavioral incentive/point system and provide positive reinforcement Support clients with emotional regulation, de-escalation, coping skills, and conflict resolution Facilitate groups, activities, and daily routines as assigned Transport clients to school, medical appointments, work, outings, etc. using company vehicles Safely operate company vans and vehicles while transporting clients in the community Administer medications as trained and assigned Complete all required daily documentation and incident reports in the EHR system Communicate client needs, concerns, and progress with supervisors and treatment team members Assist with household responsibilities, structure, and maintaining program expectations Support clients in meeting treatment goals, participating in counseling, groups, chores, and daily programming Maintain professionalism, organization, accountability, and appropriate boundaries throughout shifts

Staff-to-client ratio is always 1:3 Extensive training and ongoing support provided Fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old Experience working with youth, behavioral health, foster care, STRTP/group homes, or related populations is required Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, etc.) Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive during crisis situations Ability to implement behavior support strategies and treatment plans Strong communication and documentation skills
Required:
Valid Driver's License Clean DMV driving record and ability to be approved to drive company vans/vehicles Clear Live Scan background check (or criminal exemption clearance) Health screening clearance Current TB clearance
CPR/First Aid Certification Food Handler Certification Water Safety Certification Work Location:
