The Rehabilitation Therapy Aide, under direct supervision, assists therapists and assistants with the implementation of treatment programs and provides levels of support services, as needed, for the operations of the department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides Non-Direct patient care. Always helps maintain a clean treatment area and work environment, including listed aide duties. Provides appropriate telephone coverage and clerical support as needed. Helps with supply inventory and retrieval of equipment/supplies when needed. Interacts appropriately through clinical communication. Communicates clearly and timely with other departmental personnel, and other hospital personnel. Keeps supervisor informed of clinical issues, problems or concerns related to job role, and any other issues related to job performance. Keeps primary therapist aware of patient care issues
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required Previo us experience in a health care setting preferred Must be able to carry out clinical skills in any setting as need deems
WORK SCHEDULE
Full Time:
Monday through Friday- Hours/Shifts may vary, but will be between 8:00am and 5:30pm. 40 hours per week. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V
