Job Description

Overview 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday - Friday Works under the direction of a therapist or therapy assistant, supporting the productive operation of either the inpatient or outpatient rehabilitation program. Maintains and cleans the equipment/treatment areas, preps and inventories supplies for therapy sessions, assists with Joint Commission preparedness and completes clerical tasks as assigned. Assists with patient care as directed by the therapist which may include tasks such as transporting, transferring, lifting, stand by assistance of completion of exercises. Qualifications Education High School diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
Pursuing higher education within a clinical field. Experience Patient care experience in a health care setting preferred Experience as a student, working or volunteering in a rehab setting preferred. Skills Demonstrated computer experience Demonstrated strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated excellence in public contact skills (respect for others, courteous, tactfulness) Demonstrated ability to solve problems, prioritize and display initiative; dependability; ability to accept direction and interact with others; strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently. Computer skills and efficient use of Word and Excel.
